VT Debugger Troubleshooting Guide
Check this guide first when encountering issues. Most common problems have solutions here.
QWhat if it says 'VT not enabled'?
Reboot into BIOS/UEFI, enable Intel VT-x or AMD-V. Some motherboards require disabling Hyper-V.
QBSOD after attaching to a process
Usually a driver/OS mismatch. Ensure 64-bit Win10/11 with latest updates, and download the matching debugger version.
QDriver load failed with error code 31
Driver signature not recognized. Disable driver signature enforcement in advanced boot options or use test mode.
QProgram hangs after setting breakpoint
Check for duplicate breakpoints at the same address or conflicting conditions. Clear all and re-set.
QMemory search returns empty
Ensure the target isn't anti-debugging protected. Try switching to physical memory or EPT mapping mode.
If none of the above works, collect error logs and submit to technical support.
