Compatibility FAQ
Common questions about VT Debugger compatibility.
QDoes it conflict with VMware/VirtualBox?
VT Debugger requires exclusive VT-x, conflicting with Type-2 hypervisors. Close VMs or use Hyper-V isolation mode.
QDoes it support Windows Sandbox?
No. Windows Sandbox uses Hyper-V and occupies VT-x. Disable it in Windows Features first.
QCan it debug .NET programs?
Yes, but IL-level debugging is limited. Use alongside dnSpy for .NET-specific debugging.
QDoes it support ARM architecture?
Currently only x86-64 is supported. ARM version is under consideration.
Compatibility issues are usually VT-x exclusive. Close other virtualization software.
